Robin Mortier
Founder · GhentI'm from Ghent. I studied computer science and then did a master's in business economics. For about two years I've been building online gift brands, and today I work on OurBrands full-time.
I started because at the moments that really mattered, I never found a gift that was personal enough. So I started making it myself.
I build the AI pipelines behind our brands myself: the software that turns one photo of a house into a 3D brick design, or a story into a comic. It makes the first draft fast. Then people on our team work through every design by hand, down to the details and the finishing touches, before anything is made.
I hope the things we make get a spot on a windowsill or a wall, and that one day someone points at one and says: “that's us.”
Where we're going
We want to build a small family of brands that each do one personal thing very well. Every new brand reuses what the last one taught us: the design pipeline, the quality checks, the suppliers. The empty tile in our logo is the next one.
